I think your hubby's doubts are probably good if they are adopted from a reasoned perspective, not an emotionally reactive one. But that's saying a lot; the cause or reason for the doubts are critical.
And while it's fair to doubt HOW things will unfold, I personally have very little doubt about the fact that things ARE unfolding (in the right direction) and also that I don't know a lot of HOW it will unfold.
