If I had to guess, I'd say Tesla has served its purpose as far as Musk is concerned. SpaceX is funded and off the ground. Tesla is no longer his main concern, and it may be better to have it die on the vine than become a liability.

If you don't feel comfortable homeschooling for whatever reason, there are free online accredited public schools funded by your tax dollars. See schools like Connections Academy and K12. Parents have full access to the curriculum, and your kids study from your home under your supervision. If your local public school is failing your kids, you don't have to go it alone.

They don't need to put a chip in you when 98% of you damn fools willingly carry the thing around with you in your pocket, tenderly caring for it, keeping it charged, and paying for the privilege.

The sad reality is, this is already here. Bank accounts are already electronic and one government phone call away from being inaccessible. Not many people these days carry around even enough cash for a tank of gas, let alone surviving more than a month without government approval.

If it was a plan, it was a good one, because it worked. For them.

The law doesn't say anything specific about what products or services they are required to provide during those six months. Or that they need to continue employing anyone. Looks to me as if they can just remain "open" with empty shelves or just a couple bags of dry beans and a security guard and call it good.

Hit them with the RICO act. Anyone employed by these organizations is financially gaining from human trafficking.

And a church's tax-exempt status means the more they own, the more communities where they own property must make up for in common services, like schools, roads, police, and fire protection. They are a parasite.

He didn't even ask her what THE definition of misogyny was. He just asked how SHE defined it. She could have said any damn thing and continued the conversation, but she just bluescreened.

Just like Trump and his first term.

Lots of talk and fuck-all for action.

They're just renaming it to escape the publicity and hoping no one will notice.

the owners have confirmed the business will close down, and later a new restaurant with a new name will replace it.

Eisenhower warned us. We (collectively) didn't listen.

Gently. With a chainsaw. Though you'd probably have to wake him up first.

Speak a little bit louder, and in the direction of this lovely flower arrangement totally coincidentally placed on the table please.

Libs never can put their money where their mouth is. They're glad to volunteer someone else to do it, but never themselves.

From what organization exactly?

I think that guy that said he was from Hogwarts might have been pulling your leg.

support hand

Sounds like a skill issue. He might have actually trained proficiency with his off-hand, instead of teacupping like a fudd. ;)
