I was a little angry last night reflecting on the past year of having to wear masks. I was basically robbed of an entire year of having my God given talent taken away from me. It's so unfair. I used to get such better treatment when people can see my entire face, now I feel invisible sometimes. I miss making people happy just by being good looking and smiling at them. I realized I've been a little down because of this.

I live in San Diego and since the start of covid you can spot people wearing and not wearing masks. No one cares if you're out taking a walk or in public.

Some people do wear masks because they fear covid. Some because they think it protects others. Others cause it's required. Many reasons.

I sometimes wear it, sometimes don't. I'm not afraid to not wear it or to wear it. I'm not afraid of covid or the vaccine.

Yeah. That was Februar-ish of last year. I'd forgotten all about that post.

It doesn't quite matter either way though. If it shows the same result, it would be said that there was tampering.

There's far deadlier viruses like ebola, but they don't have the high spread rate of covid-19. You're not going to get the death counts as great as covid-19 from it. H1N1 was also global and no lockdowns cause the spread factor wasn't as alarming.

The vaccine won't even prevent you from even getting the virus with certainty. But it reduces transmission by a quarter the last I read. You can still transmit it, but with lower viral load the person you infect will have a lower chance of dying from it.

Since most people in my states are getting it, I also lower the probability of my old people getting it by getting the vaccine. That would be a different consideration perhaps if you lived in an area where most will not be getting the shots.

Also I love needles

New Zealand and Australia have been living normal for a while now. My state CA is going to be next month most likely. It feels good to be almost back to normal. Although last year's spring lockdown was awesome.

It's killing a lot of Brazilians and reaching into the younger population which it hasn't done before. It might be environmental factors particular to Brazil that contributes to higher deaths. Usually selective pressures means that variants becomes weaker, but because the virus slowly kills and exhibits, that's not in play. That's not to say what you say isn't true though.

Are you not afraid that the government is taking away your rights?

Well I want to visit my old people. The thing that sucks most about this virus is that you can have it and not know. It's if all about you coming down with, it cause the odds are pretty good you're not going to die from it, and the long term effects of having it, like the vaccine is also unknown. The odds from dying from these vaccines are also there and much lower than from covid. But there are odds of dying leaving you're house.

This mRNA vaccine doesn't need covid to stay in business. It will at some point be expanded to cover other viruses. It will be interesting to see if there will be any long term effects.
