I am torn about this.

Vivian, the tranny in that image, is ACTUALLY transgendered in the original Japanese version of the game that was released on the GameCube back in the 2000's. The American localization at the time removed the tranny stuffs and made Vivian a straight girl, and altered all dialogue to reflect that fact. This change is well known within the Paper Mario fanbase. It seems that the Switch remake of the game is preserving what is accurate in the Japanese version of the game back then.

On one hand, for practically forever, I get annoyed and miffed about censorship and whole scale when translating and localizing foreign media for American markets, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Anime and Japanese Games, and ESPECIALLY if it is to inject Woke BS or to cater to leftists. Give me the original vision of the creators of the media and don't alter it.

On the other hand, I am not so sure if I would like to see nor tolerate anymore Woke or LGBT BS in my games even if it is the original intent of the makers of the game, especially since my tolerance for such insanity was very strained and eroded in recent years. In this case, I would like Vivian to be a straight girl, for it makes the story flow more naturally without LGBT distractions.

Either way, this might push me to not getting the game, as much as I have adored the original game...

Agreed on the tiredness part. And especially since we tend to be under-manned.

We would need more shifts, more manpower, and for those willing to overtime, better pay.

The big questions are who or whom did it and for what goals?

While the obvious answer is that the Israelis and the Deep State are behind this, there is a possibility that they are a red herring used by other suspects to camouflage their actions. The President is not a popular man with the people and I bet that elements within the government (corrupt or honest) don't like him either and would rather see him gone.

Time will reveal all things, but we need to keep an open mind on the truth once it comes out, even if it goes against the popular biases we hold.

Hijacking the top comment to be the devil's advocate:

While the first thought is for us to blame Israel and the Deep State, keep in mind that the Iranian President is not a popular nor beloved man amongst the public and the Iranian government has plenty of corruption issues that is quite widespread within their ranks, from their military to their religious authorities.

We should keep in mind the possibility that this incident can be a result of

1.) Corrupt elements within the government wanting to eliminate the President towards a goal and using Israeli hostility as cover for their crimes.

2.) Honest elements within the government or general public getting fed up with the corrupt President and deciding to take action, again potentially using the Israeli hostility as cover, or

3.) Criminal negligence or incompetence from all involved with the helicopter trip, from the flat path planners to the helicopter maintenance crew.

Time will reveal the truth, but we need to keep an open mind to accept the truth, even if it is not to our liking nor confirming to our biases.

Maybe, but how about doing so at sea?

They will need a logistical chain that can transport food and supplies from Russia to Antarctica and transport oil safely from Antarctica back to Russia or allied refinery locations that are closer. The distances involved is almost 10k miles in one direction; a truly daunting distance for sea-farers.

The ships will need to handle temperature swings from Tropical Heat to Bitter Cold, survive traitorous waters like no where else on Earth, and avoid icebergs or two. Heard that current Russian Military Ships have problems with warmer water chocking out their boilers, so I am not sure if the civilian ships are better equipped.

There will also need to be a capable task force on hand to deal with any accidents and prevent ecological disasters from getting out of hand. Even Russia's allies would probably not want to see another Exxon Valdez Oil Spill occurring.

So yeah, they might have experience doing so on land and in their backyard, but Russia needs to see if they can do it at sea and on the other side of the globe, because that is an entirely different story.

I am just expressing annoyance on the worship GAW has for BRICS. Whenever the topic of BRICS comes up, there are bound to be posts praising the organization and its gold standards with virtually no criticism or calls for caution at all. Such prideful group-think is the downfall of many movements, and I do not want it to be the downfall of this movement.

I guess be prepared to be terribly disappointed if all of this does not pan out like you all think it will.

The_Knight_of_sunset 4 points ago +4 / -0

And do we have confidence that China will not fake those too? Remember, they fake gold, buildings, clothing, food, and more things I have no idea that could be faked. How can Russia or Brazil be confident that China will not cheat them?

The_Knight_of_sunset 7 points ago +7 / -0

The problem then becomes how can we extract and transport this precious fuel to the whole world without incident.

Even without enemy activities, the extreme temperatures and weather within the region poses rather significant engineering and logistic challenges that needs to be overcome, and I am not sure if our current technology can address these challenges at reasonable prices.

I confess: I do not see a gold-based currency system ever working if China is anywhere involved with it. There are multiple documented cases where China have been caught lying about their gold reserves and padding their numbers with fake gold.

https://news.bitcoin.com/gold-industry-83-tons-fake-gold-bars-secure-2-billion-loans-china/

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/world-news/chinas-biggest-gold-fraud-4-of-its-reserves-may-be-fake-report/articleshow/76707339.cms?from=mdr

https://www.scmp.com/business/companies/article/3092042/explainer-how-kingolds-fake-gold-bars-slipped-through-scrutiny

Then again, what do you expect from a nation whose population and businesses has an infamous reputation of making fake everything?

More to the point, the issue with faked gold reserves is that it greatly undermines it's use as a holder and backer of currency though a breach of faith. If a nation has no faith that the gold bars it has received is genuine, then gold is worthless as a storage and backer of currency. I am willing to go so far as to say that China's motives for joining BRICS is to extract genuine gold in an effort to give meat to their gold reserves on the cooked books.

You attracted a bunch of haters, with a downvote count like that.

The_Knight_of_sunset 7 points ago +7 / -0

You need discipline to be religious.

That, or a bunch of rabid morons that threatens anyone who looks like an apostate with death.

Islam is unique in that it is the only major "religion" that prohibits apostasy, on the pain of death. Once someone becomes a convert, Islam says the only way to leave is in a coffin, be it through old age, a casualty of war while spreading Islam, or executed due to apostasy.

Of course, reality is more complicated than that, but the fear of death at anytime from any Muslim (especially neighbors and family members) for being even suspected of an apostate means that Muslims tend stay Muslim, if only nominally. Muslim religious leaders confessed that it is practically the only thing keeping the "religion" from dying.

I guarantee you that if we can make it so that the threat of death for apostasy is significantly reduced or neutralized, Islam will collapse like a house of cards in a windstorm.

Agreed.

He does throw Trump in jail, he would guarantee Trump's election in a landslide so big, the Demonic Rats can never cheat away.

I bet that Merchan is under direct orders to not throw Trump in jail, if only to make sure this election doomsday scenario for the Demonic Rats never come to pass.

In addition to guns and bullets, arm yourself with knowledge, messaging, and the Holy Spirit.

For at least a couple of years, there is a growing apostasy problem with the global Muslim community, to the point where Muslim religious leaders are openly expressing concern about the problem and the potentially deleterious effects to the future of their "religion".

We can help make the apostasy problem worse. We need to do three things:

1.) Continue to spread information and messaging about the hard truth and criticism about Islam, especially over the Internet and Social Media Networks. Part of the apostasy problem is that lukewarm Muslims have access to the Internet and vast oceans of information and memes, information and memes that deals deadly blows to the Muslim "religion". Supposedly devout Muslims will have their faith shaken to the core, and the lukewarm Muslims will probably apostatize with the truth revealed to them.

2.) Provide a social environment where Muslims can not, or will not, carry out the death penalty that Islam prescribes to apostates. One significant factor in limiting the rate of apostasy in the Muslim communities all around the world is that new apostates are hesitant about proclaiming or expressing their apostasy when there is a risk that some angry Muslim, or the Muslim community as a whole, will kill them. Neutralizing the ability to kill apostates, and I can guarantee you that the amount of ex-Muslims will skyrocket like you will not believe.

3.) Pray constantly to God for the Muslims to see the truth and turn away from Islam. Believe it or not, I do think God is hard at work in converting Muslims away from their cult and to the hands of Christ. Testimony from many of the ex-Muslims, even in the heart of Islamic nations, said that the ex-Muslims have received holy visions and dreams from God that caused them to turn away from Islam. There is something divine at work here and we need to continue praying to God that this continues and intensifies.

We do these three things, and Islam will collapse like a house of cards.

Let them fight.

I'll get the popcorn and record the footage for our purposes.

Why the footage? So I can use it against the both of them. I show the footage of the antics of the LGBT to the Muslims to inspire more anger against the rainbow mob, and show the violence of the Muslims to the rainbow mob to show them what the Muslims really think about them.

I will make their fragile alliance fall apart at the seams.

1
The_Knight_of_sunset 1 point ago +1 / -0

becoming Islamic

With luck, a good number of these new converts will go full apostate against the Islamic faith, and maybe take a few more more Muslims with them.

To make lemonade out of these lemons, use the embarrassing antics of these new converts to help deliver some hard truths about Islam, probably with the help of ex-Muslims and Critics of Islam, targeting the more "lukewarm" Muslims who might apostatize if given enough of a push. Then, provide protection and spaces for these newly minted ex-Muslims against the wrath of those who would want to carry out the death penalty Islam has against apostates.

If we do all of that, I believe that Islam will crumble like a house of cards.

And to these Muslim punks, said crazy bitches are only good for producing tons of children and to space away in the house.

I do not think that bankers are behind all wars.

...

Got your attention? Good.

Let me explain why I think that way. Obvious answer is that there are wars in the ancient world (ancient enough where banks and money will not have existed) and in the parts of the world where banks do not have that much of an influence. I do not think banks are existent when the Hebrews conquered the promised land during the events of the Book of Joshua, for example. After all, people were still storing and preserving their wealth by burying it like pirate treasure, or carrying it around with them. Both are methods of storing wealth before any institution resembling banks existed.

In fact, banking and lending for interest is not especially prohibited in the Bible. One of Jesus's Parables (The Parable of Talents to be precise) have the master harshly condemned a lazy servant who did nothing with the modest sum of money (referred to as "talents") and just hide it away (which is what people used to do to protect their valuables and wealth before banks). Said master even have this suggestion to the condemned servant:

Matthew 25:26-28 “But his master answered and said to him, ‘You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed. Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and on my arrival I would have received my money back with interest. Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’

Luke 19:22-24 He said to him, ‘By your own words I will judge you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am an exacting man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow? Then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, I would have collected it with interest?’ Then he said to the bystanders, ‘Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’

In this light, banking and lending with interest becomes a fact of life in a mature civilization with mature economies and mature societies.

Want my opinion on what causes wars?

My opinion is what cause wars and conflicts is politics. I have taken a training course in political campaigning a couple of years ago, and one of the first lessons is what is politics is really about: The proclamation of power and the process of figuring out who rules over whom. Sounds ugly, but the teacher tells us to count our blessings because, in other parts of the world, politics is carried out primarily with violence and thugs with guns (with a picture of a crying woman being executed by a Taliban goon to drive home that point).

When put into that perspective, war is an extension of politics to defeat and dominate one's enemies and opponents. War are not necessarily evil. God has used wars and invasion to correct and punish the wicked, from driving out the wicked tribes from the Promised Land to allowing foreign invasions to punish the fallen Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and causing said invaders to be defeated in warfare by the Israelites once the punishing is done. However, like all things earthly, wars have been repeatedly hijacked to serve the interests of evil, and no doubt evil will try to hijack these current wars too if they have not done so already.

The De Facto Mission Statement of the Great Awakening Movement is to have everyone expand their thinking beyond what they programmed to think in order to find the truth. To achieve this, we must be willing to put to the harshest tests our own beliefs; failure to do so means we are no better than the normies we mock constantly (in fact, we might be worse by then since we have the element of ungodly pride blinding us to our impending fall).

Even before the incident with Smiley, Catturd has multiple social media posts where he has to take his pets to the vet to address atypical serious issues like snake bites, getting injured by cars, and having pieces of wood sticking out of their mouths.

Trolls are pathetic creatures, but I will give credit where credit is due by begging the question on why Catturd has such poor track record with his pets (said pets have more incidents than maybe a dozen other normal pets combined), and why Catturd feels the need to post about his pet's condition all of the time. Farming for social media clout?
