eh, my brain interpreted them as dolls and my descriptive abilities are a bit poor. The artist is Lena Cronqvist. There seems to be a series of similar pieces of "art" featuring the same children and dolls. Lots of her other works are distasteful and creepy.
The group building this is called Neom and they have several different super futuristic projects they have conceptualized but I think The Line is the only one in active construction. I wonder how many immigrants they will wish to house there?
I saw the procession of horses earlier that morning while walking the kids to school. There were around 20 horses and some of the horses had uniformed riders, others did not. They trotted down the street just as we were coming out of the tube station. It was cool for the kids to see.
I try to watch the mood and demeanor of folk here and based on those observations I wouldn't say anyone is in PANIC.
NHS has called me several times about my kids immunizations and to warn about the "measles outbreak" in my area. I talk to other moms all the time and none of them have said a peep about measles nor knowing someone with them.
I'd like to bring up that due to an increased number of cases of Measels in UK, NHS has an incredible push for kids to get the MMR vaccine. I've been emailed, texted, and even called about it. Not sure if related, but it should be noted.
Put me at 5-7. Moved to England b/c husband took a job and I miss America dearly. While it is interesting to see and hear sentiments of the people here but it's not like being home and I cannot wait to return.
