I use a VPN on all connected devices, browsers with privacy shields like Brave and Dissenter, and do my best to minimize intrusions. I do it all knowing full well that if the IC wanted to track me they certainly could.

Thanks for clarifying, fren. My initial reply was to your comment, but it wasn't meant to call you out specifically or to hijack the thread or anything. I just wanted to join the conversation and it seemed like an area to jump in. Next time, I won't reply to you specifically or I will be more clear that my comment was general in nature.
I want members of our community to know that the surveillance state has become ubiquitous worldwide, especially in technologically advanced societies where most people have smartphones.
We really went into overdrive after 9-11. Perhaps the purpose of 9-11 was to increase the surveillance state.
Here is what 9-11 provided us with. (This is a general comment, you are obviously smart enough to know all this)
- Patriot Act
- Department of Homeland Security
- Transportation Security Administration
- Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI)
The big "story" out of 9-11 from the US Government was, "Oh, if only our intelligence agencies could have been talking to each other, we could have avoided the whole thing."
This led to the 4 items above being created that effectively allowed the FBI, CIA, DOJ, NSA, and all of the other Intelligence Agencies to effectively "legally" spy on anyone and everyone in the world.
The collusion with Five Eyes (FVEY) where partner nations effectively spy on each other's citizenry and then report back to each other what they are finding through foreign intelligence gathering effectively allows for global deep state spying on everyone everywhere using foreign intelligence gathering, rather than purely domestic spying.
What I mean by this is the US Constitution's 4th Amendment forbids unreasonable searches and seizures. Basically, a warrant is needed for probably cause to search someone's personal matters and potentially seize anything related to a crime. If the UK or Australia spies on Americans, this is not unconstitutional as it is not the US Government unconstitutionally spying on Americans, it is a foreign entity. Each of these nations spies on each other's citizenry and then reports the information to each other via their Five Eyes agreements.
If your main goal was to share links via text without the provider blocking them, then fine, I am glad Signal worked out. No one should think there is any app or smartphone that cannot be spied upon. It just isn't the world we live in anymore.

I'm stating my personal opinion. Call it FUD all you want. I think most discerning Patriots are well aware of the fact that our IC is spying on everyone and leveraging that information for nefarious purposes.
Enjoy Signal all you want.
The traffic cameras are still spying on your travel habits.
If you have a modern vehicle, it's spying on you if you use GPS or voice control.
Business cameras and neighborhood cameras are spying on you.
Your utility providers are spying on your energy habits.
Your smartphone is still spying on you through the microphone, camera, GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, NFC, and your browsing habits. VPNs are not 100% secure either.
If you think you are safe because you use Signal, maybe you are, maybe you aren't, but there are many things out of your control that are spying on you everywhere you go.
This is all my personal opinion.

So you are telling us that Signal is so secure that the Intelligence Agencies can't spy within it?
In my opinion, there is no app that is fully encrypted or can't be spied upon via the Intelligence Communities.
Apps like Signal are promoted as unbreakable and unhackable and then when people use them for "secure" communications they are caught.

I do believe that government should stay out of our lives. We are beyond the breaking point of our nation with what the intelligence communities have been up to. They spy on everyone 100% of the time. If they find blackmail (or place blackmail) they use it.

This whole case is so laughable. It's making a mockery of our justice system. I think part of the Awakening is waking people up to how corrupt everyone is, including judges.
"Fake News" was brought to us in 2015, was proven quickly, and today basically no one trusts the "news."
Maybe the same scenario needs to unfold with our justice system. Our entire justice system, including the intelligence communities, especially the "Department of Justice", the C-Lie-A, and the F-B-Lie need to be fully exposed to clean everything up.
We will never fix our nation without first fixing our justice system.

Yeah, my personal style is a little different than his. I also don't have my face all tattooed either like some of the guys there yesterday. Having said that, I loved watching all of their enthusiasm! I would totally hang with any of the people at the Bronx rally and one of the most fascinating things would be listening to their perspective on the world.

Patriot Act: "Lawful" spying on American Citizens. Allowing the CIA and FBI and all the rest of the IC to collude with each other through the newly created office of DNI.
An entire new government department, the Department of Homeland "Security". This new department created the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Travel has never been the same and every TSA agent gets to stare at our nuts and tits as we go through their scanners. Total invasion of our privacy and normalizing it.
In reality, what these laws, rules, and new government departments and agencies have accomplished is a complete destruction of our privacy rights, complete control over our borders, and complete control over our elections.
The most egregious evil of all that's been created by the unified government intelligence agencies is their reckless and malevolent spying on all Americans, especially politicians, judges, business leaders, community leaders, church leaders, media leaders, tech leaders, and everyone else in positions of power so that they can be blackmailed and controlled. If you ever wonder why politicians and leaders go against the majority of those they lead, it is because of blackmail.

Remember Oklahoma City? Dems bought a ton of tickets and then the MSM was all prepped with their stories to say Trump can't pack a stadium anymore.
Why is that? Do you believe this has not occurred?
Part of the plan may be putting Trump in jail so that when the others are rightfully put in jail, they can't claim a weaponized government because they would have done it to Trump.
