Not to be contrarian, but in this photo from Reuters you can see the Russian helicopters in the background, but the helicopter in the foreground is the one identified as the one carrying the President. That helicopter appears more modern although Mil still produces the Mi-17 to this day and I'd assume the presidential helicopters would be the best in their fleet.

Again, anything is possible, but their location would be the perfect place to carry out an assassination as it's right on the border with Azerbaijan and the Armenian border is relatively close, not to mention Turkey. Lots of places to disappear to and those governments wouldn't necessarily be mounting an enthusiastic and comprehensive search for the culprits. Add in the bad weather to further conceal your escape and complicate any search efforts and the circumstances are almost perfect.

Take anything from Reuters with a grain of salt though.

It'll be interesting to see who their contingency replacement is.

The incident is pretty suspicious. Of course, the Iranian regime will automatically jump to blaming Israel because that's their go-to knee jerk reaction, but in many cases, that reaction is justified. The incident happened on the border between Iran and Azerbaijan and Israel are known to have assets active there, in neighboring Armenia, and also inside Iran.

Just look at all of the targeted assassinations of senior Iranian officials and scientists involved in their nuclear program over the years and the sabotage of of their nuclear infrastructure. Every one of those hits have Israel written all over them and I'm generally good with that because nobody, apart from China, Russia, and Iran's proxies, wants a nuclear armed Iran.

Take a look at the pic of the chopper the Iranian President was riding in. It doesn't appear to be some pre-1979 Islamic Revolution relic. Yes, there were reports of bad weather in the area, but mechanical failure doesn't seem likely although anything is possible.

Every government has contingencies for events like this and the Iranian Ayatollahs won't go quietly.

This is the way when you're in an environment mismanaged by joggers. This predominantly white area of Baton Rouge has been hiding the incompetent city "leadership's" failures for far too long. Now they can sink or swim on their own merit, but we all know how that's gonna go...

Without the white teat to suckle from, they'll destroy themselves. WIN-WIN?

The best type of enclave.

Serious question:

We all know anything and everything mismanaged and "governed" by blacks anywhere in the world is a total shit show.

That being said, what is keeping the Afrikaaners from seizing the military and annihilating the ANC, Malema, and anyone who supports them?

Blacks only understand the hard hand, so the hard hand is necessary.

P.S. Here's a great article that gives insight into the mind of your average black in South Africa.

P.P.S. I worked with some Selous Scout veterans of Rhodesia and other SA mercenaries during my 5 years in Iraq and they were some damn good soldiers. I also used to drive a SA Casspir while I was there and SA used to make some badass armored vehicles! I'd love to get my hands on one one day.

When my wife and I were dating early on, we had the "how many kids" conversation and she said she wanted 2 and I said I wanted 5. We eventually agreed to compromise and settled on 3, but after this last one, it's going to be an uphill battle for #3. I hope it happens, but I'm not going to be "devastated" if it doesn't as I have 2 very healthy and whole little girls and I'm so thankful for them.

Amen! God has been so faithful to me and my family. His faithfulness and provision are incredible and I certainly don't deserve it, but I've earnestly been making strides over the last 10 years or so to be a better person and a blessing to all I come in contact with.

Thank you! I love being a Dad and my only major concerns are about 15 years down the road. I don't want to go to prison, but I'm not scared of it either. If some punk harms one of my girls, I won't be the type to "let it all play out" in the legal system...

Thank you and done! I really just went and did that and my wife got all teary-eyed when I told her what it was for. She's so grateful (as am I) for the support we received here.

Shit! We got the paste! I didn't know there was anything wrong with it! Baby girl latched right on the first time though and has been a hungry, hungry, hippo ever since!

Thank you! The 2 doctors had to do a ton of pulling, tugging, and more pulling and tugging, but they finally managed to snatch her out and she's perfect!

Don't give up Fren! It took me and my wife about 6 months when we were trying and finally got pregnant only to have a miscarriage 2 months later.

You hear about miscarriages all the time, but until you have one personally, it's hard to understand how devastating and demoralizing it can be. Thankfully, we got pregnant again about 2 months after the miscarriage and now have a healthy, whole, beautiful little girl!

Don't give up and keep trying. After the first 2 pregnancies including the miscarriage, we were looking at what we did exactly to get pregnant those times and the single common denominator was this product called **Pre-Seed" which is a fertility lubricant. We realized that we got pregnant on the times we used that and so we tried it 2 months after the miscarriage and BAM pregnant again. I highly recommend it!

ZERO injections! We actually found a local pediatrician here who respects parental rights, so we're covered there, but I my first child didn't get any shots at the hospital and this one won't either. 1st child is healthy as a horse and is now almost 3 years old and only had the flu once.

Another plus is that neither me nor my children are ever in the vicinity of the disease-ridden invaders who've poured across a wide open border. My children are also not in daycare and won't be in school until kindergarten. When that time comes, they'll go to a private academy that has in person classes M-W-F and then I homeschool on T-T.
