I know I can’t imagine! I have 2 sons. My dad had a brother and my two boys remind me of him and his brother in that they’re little shits. But it breaks my heart to think of what my dad went through as a pretty young boy. I see my two boys and I pray nothing happens to me while they’re young. He didn’t have his father to teach him crucial things. He has his faults but by and large he’s a wonderful man who did the best he could raising us. He’s actually the first one of us to discover Q. He found YouTube videos back in Dec of 2017, so super early on in the movement. So he also started hoarding food now!
My dad’s parents were killed by a drunk driver when he was 12. He hoards and it took me so long to realize the connection. He also lost everything they owned because his parents didn’t have a will.

In fact the chaplain visited her today on his own to pray with her and she was able to do the sign of the cross and sluggishly prayed along with him.

Awe thank you 🥹💗 I came here before even real life friends so yes, I know you’re all my soul family in my heart. We’re all awake in this crazy spiritual war and I know you all would understand and offer support and prayer that I need. The spiritual war hit us hard in my family’s personal lives this last month. We were all pretty faithful Catholic Christian’s. So we had a hard time wondering why he was allowing it to happen to us. It’s taken so much prayer and meditating on Christ’s own suffering to have these epiphanies and graces to get us through. We had moments of weakness, but we’re picking up our crosses and following Him. Only thing that doesn’t make sense that makes sense right now.
Oh, I'm sorry she has passed. But happy she lived 5 more happy years!! That is so right about the power of prayer. He does hear us, he changes his plans based on it. That's for sure!

Yes, she was. In fact they had to surgically put some on directly into her brain. But they stopped the treatment at 3 weeks. She had vasopasms after the stopped the treatment. She was very severe case. I think we feel foolish too, because they weren't very direct with us on that fact. They made it seem like she was recovering in her own way and would eventually get out of it.
And I agree on the vegetative state as well! They also wake up at some point. I read a miracle story of a woman who was in a vegetative state for 3 months after a brain aneurysm and her husband fought doctors to keep her alive and also to give her rehabilitation. But, once he found an alternative therapist who used this thing called the powerplate on her, she regained a lot of functions and can drive a car, play piano, and garden. She was about my mom's age. I think most of it is support and love is what gets people through.
