Yeah, there are clearly reasons... But between ballot harvesting and not purging voter rolls, this stuff needs to stop. To save the Republic, these snakes need to be rooted out and dealt with immediately. I'm sorry, but if they cannot make it to the voting booth, their votes should not count. Too much is at stake. This is an emergency. The Republic is in severe danger.
Why not just eliminate absentee ballots altogether except military? That way the few who can't vote for whatever reason cannot have their means Leveraged against all the rest of us.
