I hadn't been bit by a mosquito in many years. I assumed it was about my blood. Now, I sit here with two mosquito bites in the last 24 hours! I think I got them indoors to boot.

Actually, buying a whole watermelon means lots of juice cleanup and lots of rinds in the garbage. Insects like it too, so pre-cut smaller wedges can be better.

I know of two planned villages for the homeless in two very different states. Both were stripped bare and eventually abandoned and torn down. Some people don't like "rules" imposed on their "freedoms".

I can't imagine how it feels to never have real privacy or autonomy.

My husband's TIA stole his language/speech center (aphasia). Tragic. He used to be very articulate.

Roads are full, beaches are full, entertainment venues are full, parking lots are full, grocery stores are full. It's getting crowded and we're losing our privacy, our time in solitude. There's not enough for everyone anymore. I miss our area's "country hominess. I miss knowing the neighbors in this subdivision.
