Side note: This is how I process. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but how I personally process subjects. IMHO: I can forgive the person, but I cannot forgive what they did. By this I mean from that point forward, the person is good and its up to them on the choices made, but the element of what they did in the past will haunt them knowing everytime he/she sees me. That too me is the punishment IF one is truly sorry.

Prior to that the IRS was added into the 16th Amendment earlier in the same year. There is a debate about whether the amendment is legal due to the state ratification process. 2/3's. Writings of the day indicate that the ratification process was rushed.... and here we are today!
