End time scenario or anything that wipes out life as we know it.

Her vision was terrifying but also hopeful in a slight way - human beings, animals and the natural world were spared. Our belongings were not.

We don't live in any important city or anything. If it happened to our town I bet that means it's a global event.

Very important given the recent dream post

In her dream all human beings and animals survived, albeit without their belongings. Your spouse and their body would still exist.

I think it's all coming to an end. We did things "our" way and now look at how the world looks today. We need to go back to doing it "God's way"

Unfortunately they would. My wife would be mourning her shoe collection too!

My wife has become fascinated with this whole idea since her dream. Almost on the verge of obsession but that's just her. She's very in touch with her intuition.

This particular blast would spare only nature and humanity

Very cool! That seems to have been the takeaway. We lost everything made by man but kept everything made by God. It was just an adjustment for all of us used to having so many things and taking our identities in that.

A Mad Max scenario would be a lot less intimidating without the tech

That's what my wife said. She'd miss all her little trinkets and knickknacks, and she'd definitely miss getting dressed up and getting ready for nice occasions. I think she'd manage to do without though. We'd find new outlets I'm sure.

That's a very interesting point. Would you mind explaining it a bit further?

I think the strongest of us would manage to survive

My wife found the lack of shoes far more disturbing!

It seemed far more than an EMP issue. Everything disappeared including low-tech stuff.

Exactly! It's so interesting how she described it too. Very humbling for everyone.

I don't believe she's seen it yet

It was a humbling experience for the survivors too. To see how weak and vulnerable human beings really are on their own.

It was even more intense than that. Even "dumb" tech like shoes and shovels disappeared from the Earth. It was a total reset.

Say it louder for my wife and her girlfriends to hear lol
