The age of consent in Turkey is 18. Not 12.

Apparently they changed what kind of crime it was for 12-14 y/o children. Still illegal.

Honestly the idea of only being within 15 minutes of all your needs is not a bad idea. But having to get permission to travel to another part of the city? Literally Papers, Please.

I know, this is retarded. I’ve seen that one picture of a baby supposedly holding the IUD so many times, and it’s (obviously) fake.

In the event of a pregnancy, the IUD would need to be taken out. You wouldn’t just leave it in there.

It will surprise me if I’m their reconsideration at least 4 vote in favor. What will have changed? What reason would they have to suddenly back this case for a hearing?

What does a vote condemning something do?

Luckily none of my family, or at least close family, has been super paranoid about Covid. I think one of my aunts was a bit of a Covidian but I don’t see her much anyways. And in the past several months she’s been more open to meeting family for dinner and whatnot.

When my dad passed out he hit the pavement pretty hard. I think he got a concussion, but the head wound is pretty much healed he said.

He’s actually scheduled to retire this year. All he’s been doing the last couple years is office work, pretty much. I understand the risk of ruining a near 40-year military career, but I still disagree with his decision to get vaxxed.

He was supposed to retire in early 2020 before all the Covid bullshit really became a thing, but he re-enlisted for a few more years probably for better retirement benefits.

Anyways, his career is basically over at this point anyways. No more travel or anything, and his workload is being gradually offloaded to others.

I like the “I have never seen a thin person drinking a Diet Coke” tweet a lot too

It might have been, I read it a few days ago somewhere. All big tech is the same anyways so what difference does it make?

Very surprising because I imagined high schoolers would take any opportunity to skip class
