This comment needs to be at the top of the comment thread. We have to watch out for confirmation bias. There is enough real evidence out there - we don't need to use cheap tricks.

I've been wondering how this stuff is possible - trying to get my mind around the crazy stories you hear. You think these people aren't really being held?

They are really pulling out all the stops between MonkeyPox, global warming, covid resurgence, and now POLIO

Looks like they are doing anything they can to create fear and panic...

I have met people who had the camp tattoos on their arms so I don't really understand the holocaust conspiracy theories

She's probably a vegan based on the PETA KILLS ANIMALS thing she has after her name (PETA surprisingly controversial in vegan movement).

I'm a former vegan and the deprivation of important and vital animal proteins F**ks you up real bad. It makes you paranoid, anxious, depressed, stupid, etc. Poor woman.

I also appreciated the logistical pillow. Important to take these things into consideration during your premeditated rage out.

weirdly I think the people most freaking out about this are the same people who probably wouldn't actually get an abortion.

I strongly suspect a lot of them don't understand that

they think it's Handmaid's Tale time

For those interested in learning more about herbal medicine, I strongly recommend the books of Rosemary Gladstar.

I've cured most issues at home with herbs for years. For example - D-Mannose (a sugar extracted from cranberries) can cure most UTIs that big Pharma will put you on antibiotics for (which of course then wipe out your good bacteria which in turn makes you MORE likely to get another UTI. D-Mannose is a sugar and is easily metabolized. You can't OD because you just pee out what you can't process.

Normally I'd be totally with you but a family member got into Lilith worship because he believed she was a maligned Goddess and he ended up possessed for like 6 months. He's ok now but he went through some pretty freaky stuff.

Agreed - Christian fundamentalism isn't the answer. We can't just embrace uncritically what elites are telling us to reject. I tried living in an extremely conservative Catholic community (after rejecting leftism) and nothing makes feminism look better than an actual hard right community. We have to avoid all forms of authoritarianism. We have to avoid extremism.

Agreed. Demonizing women or turning them into baby machines with no opportunities is not the way.

I also wouldn't say Lilith is much of a role model with her whole baby killing thing but I get what you mean.

This is super fascinating - do you think they are riding actual astrological cycles or do you think they just believe they are?

"Evil seeks to Plant in the Winter, Grow in the Fall, Store in the Summer, and Harvest in the Spring."

  • can you tell me more about that? what is it from?

100% this. I used to be anti-feminist until I lived in an actual hard right community. The anti-feminists have just as many problems as the feminists - it's just that the feminists have more power now so it's easier to idealize their opposite. People try to sneak in control any way they can. The key is always to be on the lookout for authoritarianism.

This is one of the best posts I've seen on here in a while.

I actually think part of their agenda might be to usher in "reactionary" far right politics under the guise of "saving us" from the insane leftist policies they themselves created. A lot of these creepy elites are literal Nazis. We have to be careful not to fall for everything that's not woke being "good" simply because it's not far left.

Authoritarianism comes in many guises.

agreed. I thought they didn't want to carry/deliver. But she delivered anyway. She says she aborted because she didn't want the kid to give away her genetic material without her consent down the line - which honestly seems.....crazy. Especially since she gave her "genetic material" away by aborting her baby and presumably giving the body away. She says she has mental health issues. I'm going to agree with her that's likely. Very sad.

Yep. This puritanical nonsense is INSANE. I'm a fountain pen enthusiast and some Reddit mob has gotten Noodler ink canceled by almost all the suppliers because some of its art is supposedly problematic. INSANITY.
