as much as I want to agree with you, it won't happen. There are tens of thousands of really bad, legitimate criminals that the FBI has put away, in addition to the political bullshit they got involved in. I don't think any of us want to give those criminals a reason to be let out of prison. The FBI needs to be split in two. It started as a law enforcement agency, and post-9/11 became primarily an intelligence agency that also happens to do law enforcement. The two need to be separated, or the intel portion disbanded. I don't see how you can sidestep keeping the law enforcement portion, or the prisons would be purged of any true criminals that the FBI put away.

Am I the only one that thinks they are setting themselves up to prevent them being able to question 2024 and launch electoral or lawsuit warfare after a Trump win? I thought the same thing when Pelosi's House removed the ability of the VP (Kamala) to send the count back to the states (like we wanted Pence to do) in 2021.
We are assuming all of these moves will prevent us from having recourse. But the reverse is that it would prevent them also.
I think that would be unlikely. The entire purpose of the last 8 years has been moving the population along to where we are, as legitimately as possible. Having the military swoop in would not be accepted by most. I think a major election win is the only way. Massive Democrat defeat electorally, popular vote, and demographically.
