I already posted this on TD but might be better over here.
There was a tweet thread showing an account that had some weird videos that focused on Irish politics and another account with the same name where the security cam footage of the bombing showed up, link below.
Also the IRA was known for clearing out civillians before blowing something up. I saw someone comment about this on news channel, link below. There is also the significance of the bomb going off on Christmas day which ties to the IRA's Catholic roots.
Some of the other pedes on TD confirmed this was the MO of the IRA to clear out civillians.
It is also highly likely this was a DS asset from back in the day when they were causing trouble in Ireland.
Thoughts?
Sauce:
My brother worked as a missionary in Belfast during "the Troubles". He said there were efforts to minimize casualties when bombings were going to happen. But he was also nearby when a grenade went off and gunfire erupted. The cops took cover behind my brother's new passenger van, which got holes in it. The IRA wasn't allowing the sale of drugs, and if they told you to report to a "meeting" they would hold a brief trial and then systematically knee-cap you for dealing. (Knee-capping was a gun fired from behind your leg thru your knee-cap.) Some guys had been knee-capped more than once, and my brother never heard of them executing a dealer. They had limits. As for the IRA, I don't think they were DS because of these limits.
Long live the IRA, na bona na croin
Damn, I do respect the IRA. I meant more that the DS had plants in the IRA to agitate. Like make certain missions go wrong etc.
You've got a good point, Verbum, the DS is insidious and they probably did have plants in the IRA. I bet they hated it when the IRA was reasonable and they couldn't blow their cover by advocating for rampant murder. Good on ya, IRA!
I saw a post or proof somewhere regards a Twitter account with handle SMcG and similar "S McG". I'll see if I can find the sauce again
Never-ending, I see someone's already commented it here
