I always found these posts really weird, because that's not an AC-130, I'm told by SoF contacts (just on Twitter, don't bite) that it's actually an MH-60, a heavily-armed helicopter gunship.
What I was told was that you can hear it's a chopper, and it fires in the characteristic way you see here—chain gun grenades salvo, followed by rockets, how they're trained to do. The AC-130 orbits much higher and does not have rockets (the AC-130's armaments only fire sideways). That's only what I was told. I'm not an expert for sure.

Combined Airforce AC-130 / Army MH-60 helicopter is the first rounds on target. The larger explosions are the howitzer rounds from the AC-130U.
Oh I see. So both? I do hear rockets.
The video includes both. https://www.military.com/video/aircraft/gunships/ac-130-gunship-lights-up-the-night/658552061001
Actually says ac 130 in the linQ posted.
Yes, yes, I know, and I actually said that on the YouTube of this, and a bunch of people with SoF, Iraq, and Afghanistan experience weighed in.
how do we know that?

The AC 130 has a side door. The gunship circles like a pirate ship in the sky.
Yes. But it doesn't fire rockets. We have rockets in this video.
There are both in the video
