He died of a heart attack. But since he tested positive for Covid, I'm sure his death will be coded UO71 as well as I46.

I would much rather see them list covid as a contributing factor in cases like this. Maybe you missed it or did not get the news we’re you are but he has been battling covid in the ICU for weeks! Godspeed to the man and bring comfort and hope to his family.

That’s the point. He died from a heart attack from a procedure related to the infection. This is like claiming death from fried chicken when a person dies during open heart surgery due to an allergic reaction to anaesthesia.
