Not dooming, and not my preferred scenario, but this thought just occurred: As things play out in congress it seems a stalemate could occur, with resulting chaos/violence across the country. Any chance Trump, the ultimate deal maker, offers the following: if Dems agree Republicans won he agrees to step down and Pence becomes President. Neither side will be happy about it, but both sides could accept it, thus avoiding civil war. Also plays into Q's "Post-POTUS" note. Thoughts?

You just show up and post the stupidest shit here. Take your canadian perspective and go back to praying Fidel's son. This isn't a fucking negotiation. We have a Constitution, a real one, with men and women that took an oath to defend it and this country.
This was actually my first post ever. So thanks for the warm welcome. I am actually pro-Trump. That should've been obvious from my post. And I can't stand Justin.
Right, so rather than read about what's going on you post some hokey hypothetical narrative. Yeah, I know it's your first post, that's why I said what I did, sorry to come off as harsh but there's lot of shills and shit posters. Look the support is great and all but seriously read up about what's been taking place behind the scenes for years and what's happening now. If you knew that you wouldn't have posed that question.
Don't take it personally. I still am not sure why, but some here HATE Pence. They do not trust him at all. So suggesting he take Trump's place in the scheme is like suggesting they make Mohammed the new Pope. Pence will soon get the chance to prove up or end his own political career, so we'll see.
