governor of PA today sent 1,000 national guard to DC. yesterday Cuomo send 1,000 NG from NY. I cant make sense of it. Why are good and bad guys flooding DC with NG? are we gonna have dueling NGs in DC?

The governors can call up the NG, but the President can take control anytime he wants. The NG was created by an act of Congress and the Presidents authority supersedes the governors. context permalink all comments (20) save report block delete edit
