Yeah, it's corporatist feudalism. There were waves of passionate, democratic, nationalist uprisings in the 19th and 20th centuries. But the gravity of power and wealth always molds a new upper class once the old upperclass is overthrown. The most powerful and wealthy tend to fear the people, instead of loving them. So they want to control them, rather than serve them. Because they are afraid of losing all their shit to them. Trump is an anomaly, he ain't afraid. He risks losing his shit to the uniparty right now, not to us.
