Yeah it isn't necessary to make it all about memes here. It is best to keep it primarily informational and discussion based.
But you are correct. There is a good medium to this though.
If they are HIGH QUALITY (like the lego capitol insurrection one), as the rules prescribe, then ok, but 95% are old retired and reused 2015-2017 conservative talking point memes. Fine and wonderful, but they do NOT belong here causing massive forum sliding of important information. That's the issue.
