I retired after 20 years as a Critical Care RN and I didn't think that it looked right either, but the angle of the view I saw it from was not the best.
That is the same angle I saw it from. I found a link form Russian_Hunter in a comment to this post, downloaded it and placed it on one of my Rumble channels at https://rumble.com/vclern-ashli-bobbit-alive.html This one is the best angle I've seen.
Even when shooting an animal with full penetration there is a much larger escape wound and a lot of splatter on exit. In a field, shooting a deer - the grass behind it would have some type of spray patterns if the exit channel does what it normally does. And this is a rifle which is much fast and smaller in diameter than the 9mm or 40 cal that black suit had. Pistol exit wounds at close distance are very messy.
I have never seen this in real life but many ballistics examples on YouTube.

If she was shot in the neck there would have been an incredable amount of blood along with the splatter on the wall
This ^^^.
