people dont seem to understand that a webcam across the street cannot pickup and use light like a DSLR or high performing camera. They compare them to professional low light shots they find on google.
Yeah, some are on not all. As for the overall live feed it is being filtered out with a dark shade. Many other webcams inside Vatican City and a few outside are off. They are normally active. One is just outside and the other is on a hotel. Someone doesn't want us seeing what's going on. Lots of activity. I see at least 6 cop cars and a fire/ems vehicle (truck or cab over van).
Assuming it's actually a live feed, then sure the lights are on. But it would be very simple to switch the live feed out to a pre-recorded loop from another day.

i guess they are comparing it to what it normally looks like which isn't normally as dark as youtube livestream so idk
livestream just started yesterday.
