Seeing more and more posts about this possibility. I'm not talking about building a bunker or having 6 months worth of supplies/ammo stashed around the state. What should we do at the very minimum just in case? Cash? Gas? Food? Will the military interrupt everyday normal movement? Schools close? etc....or will it be targeted areas only and the rest of us don't notice and go about our day?

Spend a day without using electricity and not using your debit card. See how you get along, what do you need to do to make that day suck less if it lasted days, weeks, a long time?
This is a great idea?
My mom said it will be the boredom and the lack of instant/convenience. You don’t think books, cards, board games, yarn/knitting in the forefront of prepping. We used to “play” little house on the prairie when we were kids. My dad would work on the house on a generator but we cut the power to the whole house, sometimes the water. My mom now says it was for practice but she made it fun.
