When I start hearing about quantum computers "peering into the future" it makes me think he is FULL OF SHIT.

He described that poorly. Quantum computers can execute orders of magnitude more calculations and can crunch through multi-variable mission planning scenarios with much greater speed and precision using different types of prediction algorithms (e.g. monte carlo, genetic, AI, machine learning, etc.). It's more predicting the future than 'peering into the future'.
