Actually it takes you to this place "you" (your soul. not your brain) know VERY well. Whenever you are in hyperspace its like "OMG i REMEMBER! how could I FORGET this!" being welcomed by entities.

Its the extradimensions/spirit world which all living things in the universe and beyond can connect to. Thats why you can contact aliens, extradimensional and even GOD. Bush People who hunt with bows and sticks have this and use this for thousands of yeears, doing dimensional travelling, while we "high tech people" still try to contact aliens with wimpy radio waves haha, its funny but true.
