Something else that's worth mentioning is that there are plenty of Player #17s in the NFL. This is in Texas--could've worn #17 of the Cowboys or the Texans. But no, they go to a Texas speech front and center with a jersey of a team from New York, which is like wearing a MAGA hat in San Francisco.
But more than that, from what I know about the Bills the red uniform is their alternate uniform. That means they don't wear it that often. From what I see, it looks like they wore it a total of about 5 times in the past few years. Maybe a Bills fan has more info? But that's the uniform they wear when they want to explicitly stand out.
I see people saying "well, the reason he wore that is because it's red" and there has been a lot of discussion of the "RED" Q posts lately. Could be, not saying it's not. But the Texans also have a red uniform. Could've worn #17 for the Texans and have it be red and it'd look totally normal.
But I think the big thing here is that out of every player and every #17 in the NFL, Josh Allen of the Bills is the only #17 that is also a Quarterback. Guess what their position is abbreviated as?
Q
EDIT: Apparently it's actually QB. Maybe overdoing it on the hopium over here.
He stood in the front row. He wore red because it catches your eye.
Who did POTUS point to and say, "Do you feel like a Hero? Yeah, I think you do, right? You do, and you are."

Nah, it's QB.
Doesn't mean there wasn't any significance, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
