Except it was new. I live in WA. We didn't have any power outages during or after the storm. Only a day later in perfectly fine weather in my area especially.
I also live in WA and in the county where 90% of the power outages were out as well as my parents place that went out. Getting power restored takes a while out here :)
I just found it so interesting that so much of our area and the states around us went down the next day when things would seemingly be getting better. But, perhaps was simply a time where repairing the grid elsewhere caused downfall for others for a bit.
Yeah I hear you. I guess I'm still under the impression that there's a good chance the whole country doesn't lose power. It could be everything for simplicity's sake, but I feel like it will be targeted blackouts for major areas. Don't see why for ex. in our state of WA that Leavenworth would need to get knocked out if there's nobody bad there. Just my theory.
Please check other posts about this. WA had really bad wind storms earlier this week and power is still out in some areas from it. Nothing new.
