My sister , a Trump supporter and a doomer , said ,” Don’t you know Trump is sad?” I said ,”Honey , do you know this man after observing him for 4 years. He doesn’t get sad. He gets even!” Another close friend told me they're impeaching the president where he’ll lose his pension.SMH I told her this man is a billionaire who hasn’t taken one cent his entire presidency. He doesn’t need or want a pension! Are you all having similar issues with people? I cannot believe the ignorance out there.
For some people, ignorance is bliss, as they say it.
For me, ignorance is a sign of laziness and the inability to educate oneself on something, so they resort to being ignorant and using the "ignorance is bliss" line.
This ignorance we are seeing is due to the blatant influx of propaganda and disinformation from the MSM and big tech, the 2 main avenues people still go to for news and updates. Until we nullify this, the ignorance will forever remain.
People rely on others to do their research for them. I, sometimes, am one of these people but more so because I don't have the time during work hours. For most people not on boards like this one, they're constantly relying on what the media is telling them and the media, knowing full well about this, takes advantage of them with propaganda. This was by design. Information becomes easier to access = people lose the sense of finding things out for themselves because they'll most likely come across it on their socials for example.
I was talking about the world leaders stepping down at work today and my boss didn't know who Angela Merkel is...
