In the intensive, overpowering preparations in DC, I have not seen any sonic or microwave area denial weapons deployed. Would that not be the 21st century version of fire hoses in a massive crowd control operation?

Yeah, I haven't seen riot shields or batons either. A lot of A-4's though.
