trump is an ethnocentric american. americans DO NOT use metric system. american scientists, except for the oil industry, are forced to use metric, but when they’re talking to regular people they’ll use american units.

A lot of this has to do with GEOTUS, do a timezone of EST mKes a great deal of sense, though maybe Q's posting times would give us a better idea.
I think it's reasonable to assume distances in metric rather than imperial.

I did look into miles, feet etc on the google earth and it was the Km that stood out. The shape the locations make are also odd, it’s not 4 corners trying to cover an area, you get a strange elongated triangle. I am gonna try the time zone mk that sounds promising.
