From what I've researched (and again you'll have to take everything with a grain of salt because alot of this info is classified and the little we do get is un-sourced), timeline convergence leads to these Looking Glass devices being essentially useless.
The below video is very long, but it's an interview with Bill Wood, who claims to have been in some very classified operations using Tomohawk missiles. The first half of the interview is him explaining that role and what happened to him during it (it highlights how they manipulate/blackmail people into doing what they want), but the 2nd half he talks a lot about Looking Glass, UFOs, Area 51, etc.
If you go to ~2 hours in he explains that there was a problem around Looking Glass as we approached 2012. It has to do with timelines converging in 2012, thus making our actions less and less consequential. I.E as we approached 2012 no matter what anyone did while using Looking Glass, the exact same outcome came about.
2012, the world is ending, remember all of that?
This may be another reason they didn't use Looking Glass beyond 2012.
