Q: Why was there no revolt when the king of Hollywood, friend of the stars, elites, presidents, and royalty, was taken down?
A: His crimes were both severe and indefensible...and most importantly: Revealed to the public. No one (elites, Hollywood) would publicly defend such depravity, and no one (public) would expect leniency.
How do you extinguish a small fire before it becomes a raging inferno? You smother it preemptively.
