I'm watching the video from Ft Drum. Even with many natural applause lines, Pence and his wife got only a polite even lukewarm reception. Polite applause only. No huahs, to cheers.

She was almost ignored, her first applause line got no response until, it seemed, the men were "encouraged" to clap. At least that's how it sounded to this former performing musician.
