If you have to move, be aware of all the back roads and streets, as main streets and highways might be jammed or closed. If you have a truck or 4-wheel drive vehicle, you might use old railroad beds and some cross-country travel through fields and farm lanes.

My parents live 8 hours away. Brother and sister live 7 hours away. Prefer to not take highways through major cities. (normal route that I drive).
