He is an individual in the universe... The statistic applies to the universe meaning that if a sample set is taken from the universe one would expect to find the proportion of that sample set to reflect the universe as a whole.

I did not assume anything about the individual based on their skin color, as i know that is used to divide us. It is not difficult to take a 'moral highground', as you call it, when the ground your standing on seems so low...
