If you have a Linux workstation you can live-stream and store the videos. The application is part of the Streamer system which will connect directly to the video feed then stream it into your hard drive storage. I've prepared a 20 terabyte RAID for this purpose. I'm starting it up on Inauguration Day morning at 6am. Should be interdasting unless "they" cut the camera feeds, which is entirely possible, of course. Unless you can directly hack the camera itself you can't get control of panning, tilt and zoom functions. No way I'm doing that.
