Sounded digitally generated to me. Most real human beings pause once in a while to collect their thoughts. They stumble, and stutter, and cast around for what to say next. That was too smooth. (They both might be snapped up at this point.)

I work in audiobooks. If you're lazy when editing audio you can cut out coughs and breaths without leaving a pause so it sounds odd.
