This Tweet almost reads like MP was saying he was head of the CIA.

No mention of Gina Haspel whatsoever.

Anyone else find that interesting?

Well...he was for a while lol. From January 2017 until April 2018. Then he moved to Secretary of State and Gina took over.

He was head of the CIA before SoS, hopefully to clean some deadwood as Tillerson was suppised to be doing at State. Abrupt change made a little easier because he was already confirmed for CIA.
