Fun fact: Christianity is about 40 years older than Judaism. The religion of the old testament died with the geneological records and the destruction of the temple.

But they are, right? They're still scapegoating and killing animals for their sins, but nobody talks about it? Or is that not a thing any more.
When the temple got destroyed they had to write laws that stopped the same sacrifices.
They no longer do them. Animal sacrifices as a whole of Judaism. Rabbis no longer teach it.
So the questions is how are they dealing with sin/atonement.
