I just want to point out, like I have in the previous posts on this :
Trump's 2017 EO was a succession to Obama's 2009 EO.
With Trump revoking his own order, it revokes Obama's original 2009 EO.
This is a legal and clever way to undo "undoable" EO's.
What was Obama's EO and how does this undo it?
If it's the same as this one, it prevents executive employees from lobbying or communicating for or with their previous departments.

saw someone post something like this... makes more sense when you read it again.... Trump goes back in office, many of the same people will work for him.
(look at number 6) his current people can’t work in a similar job for two years after their contract ends, so if he wants them to work for him again, they’d be breaking part of their contract if this order is still in place.
Revoking the order allows them to work for him again.
So say in the instance of a second election happening and trump winning. He would need to issue new contracts
someone on twitter said that it means he can now instantly create and run a new party but idk if theres any truth to that
