Now days you'd be doing 100hrs KP (kitchen duty, peeling potatoes). Totally disrespectful of the motorcade.

If they were heading TO the capital, it isn't disrespect to face away, as they are supposedly guarding from outside threats, also, Biden is a civilian without title or rank at that point...there is no respect necessary (or deserved, really) at that time.
