Are we supposed to believe the bad guys actually won? That we fell to communism without firing a shot? Or that Trump would deliver us to the wolves? This shit doesn't add up.

Agreed. And it's hard to say which way it all goes.
The military take an oath to preserve and protect the Constitution. In the same oath, they swear to obey the orders of the President. In the case of Joe Biden, the two oaths are utterly irreconcilable as he is not the lawfully-elected President, period. They know it. And their highest commitment is to the Constitution and not any man.
Ok - you say about commands coming from president - what happens if the military is already in charge before xiden took office -- whose in charge ???
