One other things that wasn't explained here (maybe I missed it). Where is Iran in all of this? Weird that there was no mention of them, even though they have massive influence as the leader of Shiite Islam, have the 7th largest army on Earth and are the descendant of the ancient Persians whose rich history speaks for itself.
