How do I use permalink?? Been trying to figure it out but no luck.

My point... I have a comment I wish to repeat from my comment section. So I go to it and there is a "peramlink" first in line of the options. I click on it and then what? How do I get it to be linked to a reply I wish to make?

So the text would be harvesting the url in my comment history?

Desktop/laptop: right click on permalink and copy the url. Mobile: tap and hold on permalink then copy the link/url

Another way is to left click permalink then copy the URL from the address bar.
