Sure goes hand in hand with that "reminder" the FCC put out to TV stations & media that they are legally required to air all emergency broadcasts...
Why would you have to remind folks of that unless it A) wasn't immediately obvious to those out of the loop how the content to be aired related to an emergency & B) contained content those bad actors in the know don't want to show?
We thought we were going to get a loud annoying buzz tone on our phones, but here it seems it has already been activated quietly.
Are we sure the activation & emergency/reasoning has to be announced publicly?
