The guard doesnt decide uniform. If he was ordered full scarf it explains his uniform. Thats all I pointed out. Everything else are data points of conjecture, true or otherwise.

Based on the "scrambled eggs" on the brim of the cap, I would say that is a Navy uniform. Army doesn't have "scrambled eggs," only Navy does.

Army doesn't. Marines probably, never saw it, but they are part of the Navy.
