A staged event.
Anything allowed to happen is meant to happen.
Game Stop has a market cap of 24 Billion and is owned by lots of fat cats. How could such a small investment move the market so much? This may be a David versus Goliath story but don't forget thousands of other Goliaths just got a whole lot richer.
I wonder if this is even real at all. You might laugh at me saying that but remember what's all going on around you.
With The Great Awakening upon us, next thing you know they will be calling people terrorist's for making the market go up.
First image I took from somebody else I believe it's from last night. Second image I capped just recently. Quite a bit of change over night.
Edit again: spelling. I cant fix it but since rouse means to awaken its ok.
Not a stock expert, but it sounds like what happened was 85% of people were shorting Gamestop. So when it started going up, the speculators started buying back the stock leading to a snowball effect of it keep going up. The same as if a stock was a bubble and then when it started going down everyone bailed on it, except the opposite direction. Reddit may have started the reverse crash of sorts, or it’s a coincidence.
good point. thank you!
Edit: just a thought, why did only one guy get screwed then?
