The fund was started by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports. Tucker Carlson has had him on a number of times, he's famous for his Pizza reviews where he says "one bite, everyone knows the rules".

He's amassed $32M as of today in private donations from celebrities, companies and average people who believe in helping their neighbor.

If you have a small business and you're struggling to keep it afloat, create a video explaining your situation, why you need the money, and submit it. The BarstoolFund posts videos to social media every day of Dave Facetiming the business owners to tell them the good news. Before you go look for those videos, be warned, they can be real tearjerkers.
